Wanderu Announces Travel Protection Partnership with Allianz Global Assistance
Richmond, VA, November 20, 2019 — Wanderu, a travel booking platform that allows people to compare bus, train and flight options in one convenient place, has partnered with leading travel insurer Allianz Global Assistance to provide travel protection and 24/7 emergency travel assistance to Wanderu customers.
The new partnership will provide Wanderu customers booking bus or train trips in the United States with the option to purchase an Allianz travel protection plan that provides coverage for trip cancellations or interruptions, travel delays and loss of baggage. A same-day product gives Wanderu customers who book their bus or train trip on the day they depart, the option to cover trip interruptions, travel delays and baggage loss for a flat rate of $9. Both products include Allianz Global Assistance’s award-winning customer service and 24/7 Travel Assistance, which can help consumers with almost any travel-related issue.
