UnCruise Adventures Offering Lower Fares and Travel Agent Perks

UnCruise Adventures Offering Lower Fares and Travel Agent Perks for First Small Ship Sailings to Alaska in Spring 2018

New campaign celebrates the unsung experiences and unparalleled views of “Alaska Awakening” in spring

SEATTLE, WA – Sept. 20, 2017UnCruise Adventures is launching a new “Alaska Awakening” campaign for guests  wishing to travel to Southeast Alaska in 2018, bringing them more chances to see wildlife, one-of-a-kind scenery, and the Northern Lights during the quieter months of springtime. In addition to the spring scenery, the campaign offers savings on Alaskan cruise fare for guests and special booking bonuses for travel agents.

“We’re pulling out all the stops for our spring sailings to Alaska and continuing to push the boundaries by going where others don’t,” said Tim Jacox,  president and chief operating officer of UnCruise Adventures. “Our team considers springtime in Alaska to be one of the most special times to visit, which is why we want to arm our travel agent partners with the information – and perks – they need to celebrate the season with us.”

As the first cruise line to sail into Alaska each season, UnCruise offers adventure-seekers the chance to explore Southeast Alaska with fewer crowds while enjoying the bright colors of nature coming to life, bears visiting shore, views of sea-to-sky snow, and waterfalls full of life – all while saving on airfare and cruise fare. “Alaska Awakening” itineraries begin in early April with unique benefits and amenities that include: pre-cruise hikes near Juneau led by Captain and CEO Dan Blanchard; notable guest hosts aboard most departures such as glaciologists, bear experts, photographers, authors and personal trainers; an orca adopted for guests in each cabin on the 14-night Alaska’s Inside Passage & San Juans Cruise; and the chance to sail with UnCruise executives aboard the S.S. Legacy’s April 15, 2018 departure.

The “Alaska Awakening” campaign savings applies to any April or May 2018 Alaska departure booked between September 21, 2017 and December 15, 2017. Guests will save $400 per cabin or $200 per person (single occupancy) when booking, and the offer is combinable with UnCruise’s Loyalty, Referral, and Family Discoveries savings programs, making small-ship adventures to Alaska even more affordable for families, couples and solo travelers alike. Agents must use the offer code “AWAKE18PR” to receive the savings.

UnCruise will hold Favorite Time of Year events across the country in October and November. The company’s business development directors will invite nearby travel partners to attend and learn firsthand about Alaska Awakening and the benefits of spring travel.

Travel agents also reap the benefits of “Alaska Awakening,” which include:

  • One drawing entry for a free Alaska springtime cruise with every “Alaska Awakening” cabin booked during the promotional period;
  • Bonus commission of $100 for every booking made within 30 days of attending an “Alaska Awakening” webinar or Favorite Time of Year lunch event

With a focus on immersing guests in nature and wildlife, every UnCruise ship carries its own adventure equipment and employs a team of knowledgeable expedition guides to lead adventures off ship. Guests can choose from a wide array of options with varying levels of activity—kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, skiff excursions and wildlife searches.

There are ten Alaska itineraries in the “Alaska Awakening” campaign, with cruises starting at $2,995 (before savings). All cruises include fresh, innovative meals; all beverages, including alcohol; adventure activities; transfers day of cruise and wellness amenities. Port taxes and fees are additional. The family Discoveries program encourages families to bring children eight years and older along with a savings of $500 for kids ages eight to 13 years old.
