This month we will continue our look at Secrets resorts with our coverage of the newest resorts located in Spain, one of them is on the island of Mallorca and two of them are located in the Canary Islands. These are all resorts that were rebuilt and rebranded Secrets Resorts.
Let’s look at the Secrets resort located on the Spanish Island of Mallorca. Mallorca has been a Spanish vacation destination for years. Venture into the most famous destination in the Mediterranean and the gem of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca, known for its beautiful coastline, secluded coves, limestone mountains, Spanish architecture, wineries and fresh produce farms, and stunning beaches.
The resort we are going to look at is the adults only Secrets Mallorca Villamil Resort & Spa Located in the quiet seaside town of Peguera, its location allows guests to explore all the wonders of Mallorca. The resort sits on the beautiful Palmira Beach.
Accommodations include 162 rooms and suites starting with the Standard Garden View Room, then the Ocean Front Room, next is the Standard Deluxe Garden View Room, and the Ocean Front Deluxe Room. Next, we move to the Preferred Club Rooms, Secrets Concierge level. We have the Preferred Club Ocean Front Rooms, the Preferred Club Ocean Front Jr. Suite, the Preferred Club Swim-up partial Ocean View Rooms. We then move to the Preferred Club Suites starting with the Ocean Front Master Suite, and finally the Ocean Front Presidential Suite. All regular rooms come with either 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. The Preferred Club Jr. Suite also comes with 1 king bed or 2 queen beds. All other rooms and Suits come with 1 king bed. All accommodations come with free WIFI, upgraded amenities, and 24 hr. room service.
Dining options include an International Buffet, and 3 A La Carte choices. The A La Carte choices consist of a Grill, an Asian, and a Mediterranean restaurant. As far as drinks you have a choice of a pool bar, a beach bar, a piano bar, and a terrace bar. There is also 24 hr. room service is included but with an extra charge.
Activities are made up of a beautiful, heated pool, boat trips, bike tours, a fantastic beach, a variety of cultural activities and nightly entertainment, a great Fitness center with pilates and stretching classes. Off site there are a number of tours to experience everything the Island has to offer.
This resort is a great 4 star all-inclusive adult only resort for those that want a wonderful European experience at a reasonable price.
The next resorts we will look are the two Spanish Adult Only Secrets Resorts located on the Canary Islands. The Canary Islands, located in the Atlantic Ocean closest to the African coast of Morocco, consist of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro.
First, we will look at the Adult Only Secrets Bahia Resort and Spa. Secrets Bahía Real Resort & Spa is a delight for those seeking a romantic and relaxing break Intimacy, service and exclusivity combine to create this magical and unique refuge on the Canary Island of Fuerteventura. Located in Corralejo, in the north of the island, by the beach and with wonderful views of the nearby islands of Lobos and Lanzarote, the Secrets Bahía Real Resort & Spa is the best destination to enjoy relaxation and tranquility. The accommodations at the Secrets Bahia are made up of 245 Jr Suites and Suites starting with the Jr. Suite Pool View, and then the Jr. Suite Ocean View, the Jr. Suite Ocean Front, the Jr Suite Deluxe Garden View, the Jr. Suite Deluxe Ocean View, the Grand Jr. Suite Ocean View, The Preferred Club Jr. Suite Ocean View, the Preferred Club Jr. Suite Deluxe Ocean View. We then move to the Suites starting with the Preferred Club Master Suite Ocean View, and finally the Preferred Club Ocean View Presidential Suite. All Accommodations come with either 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds. They have free WIFI, upgraded amenities and 24 Hr. Room Service.
As far as dining guests have a choice of 1 International Buffet and 7 A La Carte Restaurants. The A La Carte dining options include Mediterranean, Asian, local Canarian, Sushi, Gourmet, Italian, and a snack bar. Drinks are served at the 4 bars on the property, a Patio bar, a Garden Bar, a Night Club Bar, a Beach Front Bar, and a Coffee Bar. There is 24 Hr. Room Service included.
Activities focus on relaxation and watersports, there is surfing, wind surfing, sailing and scuba diving. On land there are jeep tours, horseback riding, bike tours. There is a great pool and of course the beautiful beach. There is a gym and a great Spa. As I stated earlier there are a number of activities, but the focus is on relaxation. They have a fantastic wedding dept.
This 4 star resort is great for the client that is looking for a great experience and something out of the ordinary at a very good price and also the AM Resorts standards.
Lastly, we will look at the remaining Secrets Adult Only Resort located in the Canary Islands, the Secrets Lanzarote Resort and spa. This resort is located on the Canary Island of Lanzarote. Lanzarote is synonymous with volcanoes, lava fields, rocks in impossible shapes, black and red earth that contrasts with the typical whitewashed houses, the deep blue sea and the light blue sky. The scenery in the easternmost of the Canary Islands also contains stark, rolling mountains, beautiful beaches of white and golden sand, lush palm groves… and silence, which is also a part of the Lanzarote landscape.

As far as dining, the options contain an International Buffet and 5 A La Carte Restaurants, an Italian, Seafood, Lunch Grill, Dinner Grill, and Asian. As far as drinks there are 6 choices, a Coffee Bar, a Lobby Bar, a Pool Bar, a Sports Bar, a Beach Bar, a Piano bar, and a Preferred Club Bar. All drinks are top shelf. There is also 24 Hr. Dining and Drink Room Service.
For activities there is plenty to occupy a guest’s time starting with 4 heated pools, a beautiful beach, Tennis, Paddle Ball, golf nearby, basketball, Volleyball, Catamaran rides, Pool Bikes, Aqua step, A full Fitness Center, a great Spa, and Evening Entertainment. They have a great Wedding Dept. as well as seeing the sights with an off-site tour.
This 4 star resort as well as the Canary Islands and Spain are becoming highly popular destinations for U.S. travelers. New experiences at a very reasonable price.
