Heading up Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Waterways
Boston, MA, November 29th, 2018 – Scenic Group has announced the appointment of Jayne O’Brien to the position of Managing Director USA, where she will oversee sales & marketing operations of Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Scenic Eclipse and Emerald Waterways. Jayne has extensive experience in developing, implementing and overseeing branding, marketing and commercial leadership strategies with several global organizations including British Airways, Intercontinental Hotels, Regus PLC and Dubai Properties Group.

During an 18-year career at British Airways, Jayne held senior branding, marketing and commercial roles and was responsible for developing and leading many of BA’s most successful brand and product initiatives, including the first ‘flat bed’ in Business Class (Club World), and a new brand, World Traveller plus (economy plus). Jayne served as chief marketing officer with Regus Group and Dubai Properties Group. Her most recent experience was as SVP Global Brands & Marketing Services at Intercontinental Group.

Jayne graduated from London University with a degree in Serbo-Croat with Eastern European studies. She also spent time at Zagreb University, Croatia, studying Croatian, as well as attending Ashridge Management College and Harvard Business School.
