Country Roads of Switzerland – 14 days
A journey specifically designed for those looking to discover spectacular Alpine panoramas and hidden retreats. To experience Switzerland the Insight way, connecting guests to local characters who really bring a destination to life, guests will meet Julia Guidotti as their Local Expert as they explore Bellinzona – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known as the capital of Italian Switzerland. Guests will step aboard the Glacier Express to experience one of the world’s greatest railway voyages. Travelers will also visit a family-run 17th century wine estate overlooking Lake Geneva, Domaine Bovy, as they sip a glass of Swiss sunshine al fresco and indulge in Farm-to-Table fare.
Country Roads of Southern Italy & Sicily – 14 Days
This 14-day journey begins in Rome, where guests can expect to see the spectacular famed sights like Trevi Fountain, the Vatican Museums, and the Pantheon with a Local Expert leading them through each site with lots of local flavor. In the town of Alberobello, guests will be treated to an incredible Insight Experience of meeting the owner of Trattoria Terra Madra, who will share his philosophy of using organic, seasonal produce, before sitting down to savur a four-course Farm-to-Table Highlight Dinner featuring orecchiette pasta made by Nonna herself. From there, it’s on to Capri to explore the charming alleyways, browse the boutiques, admire the artisan studios and enjoy the views over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Country Roads of Croatia – 14 days
Pristine landscapes and idyllic islands will leave all travelers in awe on this journey exploring Croatia off the beaten track and experiencing traditional village life. Zagreb is discovered with a Local Expert and guests will ride the funicular en route to Gornki Grad, the medieval Upper Town. Onward to the world-famous caves of Postojna for a subterranean Insight Experience where guests will take a mini-train before walking through the illuminated stalactites and stalagmites. They will also explore Plitvice National Park by walking the zig-zagging timber footbridges of the forest reserve along the crystal blue waters. On this journey, guests will step onto a private boat for a cruise along the coast to the village of Ston, meet a local oyster farmer and discover how oysters are harvested before enjoying a delicious Farm-to-Table shellfish tasting.
On this new Luxury Gold itinerary, guests begin their journey in vibrant Belfast, delving into Northern Ireland’s incredible history with a visit to the Titanic Belfast Museum.
