Resorts World Bimini Continues to Give Back Months After Hurricane Dorian

Resorts World Bimini Continues

Miami (Dec. 9, 2019) – Never mind a sleigh and reindeer. Santa Claus himself will arrive to Bimini via ferry on Dec. 10, 2019, kicking the holiday season off early for Resorts World Bimini’s annual toy giveaway. Once on dry land, Mr. Claus will hop on a golf cart to deliver toys to more than 500 children ranging in ages from infants to 18 throughout the island.

“We’re excited to help bring the holiday spirit of giving to Bimini once again this year,” said Missy Lawrence, Resort World Bimini’s president. “Our annual Toy Giveaway is close to my heart, since it is a way to make a positive impact in the Bimini community, especially after the devastating effects of Hurricane Dorian earlier this year.”

To further help with hurricane recovery this year, Resorts World donated $50,000 to the RAV Bahamas Hurricane Relief Fund. Resorts World Bimini also helped launch a series of fundraisers, which raised and matched a total of $78,000 which was donated to our Resorts World Bimini employees that were affected by the Hurricane Dorian.
