Margaritaville Hotel Nashville Welcomes New Director of Sales and Marketing

Nashville, Tenn. (May 11, 2021) – Margaritaville Hotel Nashville is pleased to announce the appointment of Michelle Stuermer as the urban hotel’s new Director of Sales and Marketing.

 

In her new role, Stuermer will oversee all facets of sales, marketing, and revenue management for the property, which debuted in October 2019 in the heart of Nashville’s “SoBro” area. The Four-Star, Four-Diamond property is operated by Davidson Hotels, the heritage brand for Davidson Hospitality Group, and features luxury accommodations, a rooftop pool and sundeck, two on-site contemporary dining concepts – JWB Grill and FINS Bar, state of the art meeting space, and the world-famous Distinctive Margaritaville Spirit.

With more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality management industry, Stuermer has held leadership positions within multiple hotel brands including Marriott and Starwood Hotels, Westin Hotels, Luxury Collection, and St. Regis. Her impressive tenure has forged valuable skills that she applies to every role, ranging from strategic marketing and sales planning to cultivating and leading a diverse team to deliver high-quality customer service. Stuermer joins Margaritaville most recently from Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown, Prior to her move to Nashville, she served as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Little Rock Marriott, where she successfully increased occupancy by 11% in her first year. Her knowledge of group sales and marketing, conference and catering event planning, market development and contract negotiation provides the Margaritaville Hotel Nashville sales team with the strategic leadership needed to offer Four-Star customer service to its clients.

Stuermer is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, TX where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialty in Marketing. She is passionate about pet rescue, travel, and volunteering.
