Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona Announces First Four Hands Menu Guest Chef of 2020: The Renowned Chef Laurent Lemal

The five-star hotel’s head chef Luis Llamas and Michelin-star chef Laurent Lemal will present a new Four Hands Menu on January 23

 

BARCELONA, Spain (January 21, 2020) Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, the five-star luxury hotel with a privileged location in the heart of Passeig de Gràcia, will invite Michelin-Star holder and Bocuse d’Or winner, Chef Laurent Lemal, to bring his talents to Barcelona on January 23. Luis Llamas, head chef at the hotel’s farm-to-table concept restaurant SOLC, will collaborate with Chef Laurent Lemal to prepare a unique Four Hands menu for guests to enjoy.

 

The property occasionally hosts chefs of international fame, offering them the opportunity to showcase their unique talents while guests are able to enjoy an exciting twist to the daily menu. This year’s first Four Hands will feature a ten-course menu incorporating the season’s highest quality products such as lobster roasted in butter with cabbage parcel, tarragon juice and snail croquettes. The menu will also include a wine pairing carefully selected by the hotel’s sommelier, Pablo Fernández. This offering will be priced at 68 euros per person (wine pairing and VAT included).

 

 

About Laurent Lemal

Laurent Lemal’s specializes in contemporary cuisine, incorporating local products and prioritizing the balance and aesthetics of each dish. He’s currently the chef at La Balette, a renowned restaurant on the French coast. Prior to taking on this role, Lemal was responsible for overseeing the gastronomic offerings at Hotel Riberach’s La Coopérative restaurant, where he received his Michelin star in 2014.

 

Throughout his successful career, Laurent Lemal has worked under the guidance of distinguished chefs such as Thierry Blanc, Michel Dussau, Fabien Lefebvre, and Guy Delmotte. In 2015, he won the Bocuse d’Or in France and participated in Europe’s most prestigious gastronomy competition, the Culinary Olympics.
