This month we are going to finish our look at Iberostar Resorts in Europe, and this will also conclude our look at Iberostar Resorts. We will look at the remaining European countries with Iberostar Resorts. These countries include Greece, Hungry, and Italy.

The first country we will look at is Greece. Iberostar has 2 resorts located in Greece, both of them are situated in Crete. Crete is located in the Aegean Sea and is the largest of the Greek Islands. It has the most beaches of all the Greek Islands and is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Europe. It is great for families, couples, and groups.

The first resort we will look at is the Iberostar Creta Marine located in the town of Rethymnon and it sits on a beautiful private beach. This is a family all inclusive resort with a variety of activities for all ages including the famous Iberostar Star Kids Club for all ages of children. It is close to town and there are a number of off-site tours available.

As for accommodations there are a wide variety available. They have everything from hotel rooms to stand alone bungalows. There are Garden View Rooms, Ocean View Rooms, Garden View Jr. Suites, Ocean View Jr. Suites, Deluxe Oceanview Suites, Ocean View Bungalows, and Ocean Front Bungalows. All come with free WIFI, minibar, there is an extra charge for the minibar. There is room service available at an extra charge.

Dining includes an International Buffet, a Mediterranean restaurant, and a Greek Restaurant. As far as drinks the resort has 5 bars, a lobby bar, a pool bar, a beach bar, an underwater bar, and a snack bar.

Activities include the Star Camp for children, a fitness center, a beautiful spa, a private beach. You need to know that beaches in this area tend to be more pebbles than sand. There are bicycles, Archery, various classes, there are 3 pools to choose from including an indoor pool. This is a great area for snorkeling and scuba diving. There is also windsurfing and paddle boarding. You can shop in town and take an off-site tour.

This resort is great for families or couple who want to take a Greek vacation in a nicely priced all inclusive resort. I would rate this resort as a 3.5-star all-inclusive resort.

The next resort we will look at is the second Iberostar Resort located on the island of Crete. It is the Iberostar Creta Panorama and Mare Resort. This is a very nice 3.5-star all-inclusive Family Resort that sits on 2 private coves. It is in a great area with beautiful ocean views. The resort does have a very small beach.

Accommodations consist of Rooms and Bungalows. In the hotel section the rooms range from Garden View. Ocean View and an Ocean View Suites. As far as the stand-alone Bungalows, there are Garden View, Ocean View, and even Family Bungalows. All rooms and bungalows have free WIFI, minibar, and upscale amenities.

Dining offers 3 choices, an International Buffet, a Greek restaurant, and an Italian Restaurant. As far as drinks there are, a lobby bar, 4 pool bars, a dance club bar, a theater bar, and a snack bar serving drinks and light snacks.

Activities abound with 3 lighted tennis courts, 2 pools, a beach on one of the small coves, A fantastic spa, a fitness center, a night club, and a theater. In the water there is scuba diving and snorkeling as well as boating. The resort has a great Kids Club, the famous Iberostar Star Camp for children of all ages. If all else fails clients can relax at the pools, on the beach, shop in town or take an off-site tour to one of the historic sites.

This resort is great for families, couples, and groups that want to experience Greece in an all-inclusive environment and at a reasonable cost.

Next, we are going to move to Budapest Hungry and the Iberostar located there, the Iberostar Grand Budapest. Budapest, the capital of Hungry, was voted the 7th most beautiful city in Europe. It is one of the most visited cities. Sitting on the shores of the Danube River, Budapest is made up of two sides, Buda and Pest on the opposite shore. There are a number of UNESCO sites in Budapest.

The Iberostar Grand Budapest is located in the heart of the city. This resort is a beautiful 4-star hotel but, is not all-inclusive. It is within walking distance of a number of historic sites as well as upscale shopping and dining. The hotel was designed by architect Phillipe Stark.

Accommodations are made up of atrium rooms overlooking the interior courtyard, city view rooms, executive rooms for those on business, Deluxe room with city views, and the largest rooms, the Jr. Suites with fantastic views.

The hotel has 1 bar but no restaurants. Dining options are within walking distance of the hotel.

As far as activities the hotel has a fantastic spa. It is within walking distance of a number of historical sites and some of the best shopping.

This hotel would be great for clients that want to visit Budapest and stay in a 4-star hotel within a short distance of the historical sites and the shopping of a top European city. It would also be an excellent hotel for pre and post river cruises.

Lastly, we will visit the Iberostar hotel, Iberostar Grand Fontana Di Trevi, located in Rome Italy. This is a new hotel that is opening in 2020. It is situated in a 19th century building within walking distance of the Trevi Fountain. This is going to be a great 4-star hotel. It is not all-inclusive but will have a breakfast plan.

Accommodations will be made up of modern designed rooms and suites.

Dining will consist of 1 Italian restaurant and a roof top terrace with snacks, drinks, and a pool.

The hotel will have a great spa with a Turkish bath. Shopping and a number of historic sites are within walking distance of the hotel. There are also parks nearby for outdoor activities.

This hotel would be great for clients who want a 4 star hotel in the center of the action of Rome.

After a number of months looking at the Iberostar chain and its resorts and hotels we are finished and ready to move on to another resort chain. Iberostar is one of the largest resort chains in world. It is a genuinely nice Spanish chain and is consistent as far as quality. It is not Fairmont or Grand Velas level but are great 3- and 4-star resorts and hotels. We send a lot if clients to Iberostar resorts and they get very good reviews. As with any resort or resort chain you need to match your client’s criteria to the correct resort as all resorts cater to a different clientele.

Until next month safe travels and good selling.
