Evan Evans Launches New Royal-Themed Tour As Royal Wedding Sparks Huge Demand

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., May 31, 2018 – With the recent wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle garnering worldwide attention, Evan Evans, London’s largest sightseeing company, has seen a huge surge in enquiries for “royal” tourist experiences. Evan Evans has responded by creating a new tour, ‘Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle with Lunch,’ to meet the demand.

Watched by millions worldwide, 2018’s most celebrated nuptials put the spotlight on both London and Windsor, two destinations that have significant connections to Britain’s royal family.

“We knew that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding would bring attention to Windsor, London and the UK more widely, and would be a fantastic opportunity for tourism this summer, but we were blown away by how much interest there has been from prospective customers in the UK and overseas wanting to explore the venues made famous by the royal couple’s nuptials,” said Therese Agerberth, managing director of Evan Evans. “In response to this demand we’ve created an exciting new tour combining Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace. This is the perfect full-day trip for anyone who wants to see where Harry and Meghan tied the knot in that beautiful ceremony.”

The new tour allows guests to visit the very venue where Harry and Meghan’s marriage took place. They’ll enjoy lunch overlooking Windsor Castle, then explore the grounds, including the State Apartments and St George’s Chapel, where Meghan walked down the aisle and became a member of the royal family. Guests also tour London’s Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II’s official residence, and explore the 19 state rooms that are only open to visitors during the summer.

‘Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle with Lunch’ is available Monday through Friday from July 23-September 28 and includes a two-course hot lunch, a guided tour of Windsor Castle, an audio guided tour of Buckingham Palace, transport in a superior Mercedes coach, VOX personal headsets, and the services of a Blue Badge Guide. Prices for the day trip are $155 per adult, $141 per child, and $148.50 per senior.

Evan Evans’ other royal-themed tours include: ‘Royal London Tour with Changing of the Guard’; the best-selling ‘Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Bath’; ‘London in One Day with Changing of the Guard & River Cruise’; and ‘Historic Royal Palaces.’
