Crystal River Cruises Announces New Prague Extended Land Program for 2020

MIAMI, September 16, 2019 Guests sailing on dozens of 2020 voyages aboard Crystal Ravel and Crystal Mahler can extend their luxury Crystal vacations with in-depth exploration of Prague, as Crystal River Cruises unveils its new “Prague Discovery” Extended Land Program for next year. The three-night immersive program is offered pre- and post-cruise from Regensburg on voyages between Regensburg and Budapest and includes luxury accommodations at the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the heart of the Czech capital city.

Also included is a half-day visit to Prague Castle, allowing Crystal guests to explore areas of the palace and grounds not typically open to the public, such as access to Rothmeyer and Spanish halls, the Rudolph Gallery, the Throne Hall, the Glass and Habsburg salons and the Golden Lounge. Guests can also visit the St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Palace and St. George Basilica. Another, full-day inclusive excursion takes guests to UNESCO-listed Kutná Hora, just east of Prague, known as the “city of silver” and the “national treasury” as it was the royal mint under King Wenceslas II of Bohemia. Today, its contemporary culture juxtaposed with its royal history make for a fascinating day of exploration for travelers.

Continuing its commitment to offering guests abundant choices and the freedom to make their Crystal Experiences exactly what they wish, the “Prague Discovery” invites travelers to “Design Your Time” with optional tours exploring more specialized interests throughout the city. A visit to a Bohemian Old Town glass gallery and workshop allows guests to participate in one of the region’s most enduring traditions, while an immersion into the deep Jewish roots of Prague offers time of reflection and education. Guests may also opt to follow the footsteps of Mozart to the composer’s favorite sites in Prague, get a comprehensive glimpse into the architectural design of the city, or visit Pilsen, the capital of Czech beer for a look at the heritage of brewing and modern techniques.

Crystal River Cruises’ “Prague Discovery” Extended Land Program is available for booking for $1,499 per person and includes three nights of luxury accommodations, private transfer between the airport and hotel, group transfer between the hotel and Crystal ship, daily breakfast and the aforementioned tours.
