ARLINGTON, Va. – April 8, 2019 – Airlines Reporting Corp. (ARC) is pleased to announce its representation on the International Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Airline Industry Retailing (AIR) Think Tank. ARC’s Managing Director of Airline Retailing and Payments, Chuck Fischer, and Managing Director of Marketing and Corporate Strategy, Steve Solomon, were appointed to serve as delegates for the ideation group tasked with the development of new initiatives to shape the future of airline retailing.

Each year, ideas are showcased via an industry white paper and proofs of concept that are presented by the group at IATA’s AIR Symposium. The 2019 symposium is to take place in Bangkok on October 29-31.

“Our participation in the AIR Think Tank will ensure that the industry will benefit from ARC’s insights on distribution, settlement and data analytics as the industry continues to evolve and retailing becomes a reality,” said Fischer.

ARC joins various industry influencers in its participation in the AIR Think Tank including United Airlines, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Air France KLM, Amadeus, Sabre, SITA and Airlines for America.
