April 2020

What an absolute unprecedented time we are in. From border closures, travel bans and a historical event in the travel industry, we are here. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused entire industries to simply stop and sit. It’s in these times that many will succumb to the situation and others will rise up to the challenge.

As an advocate for the Home Based Travel Agent for over 20 years, we are in this with you. We feel your pain, we understand your struggle and we are here to help in any way we can. It’s a challenging time to be a Travel Professional, but it’s important to remember that the actions we make now, during this time, is what will shape and effectively create our success in the future.

We challenge each and every one of you to rise up to the challenge. Continue your education, your marketing and outreach, and continue pushing for the next and highest level of success. Like all storms, this too shall pass and we are confident that the aftermath of this current environment will lead to fantastic opportunities of growth and success.

This particular issue of Travel Professional NEWS is a tool to help you do just that and in the following pages, you’ll find information, tips and encouragement to dig deep and continue your fantastic work as a Travel Professional. We are first joined by our fantastic friends at New York City Vacation Packages who share some inspiring information to use in your future bookings in the big apple.

Next, join Jackie Friedmen, President of Nexion Travel Group for a wonderful and inspirational look into the power of 25 years in the industry as a Top Host Agency . Next, join our friend Geoff Millar for an in-depth look into the fantastic Iberostar resorts located in the Americas and Africa.

Through these pages, you’ll find tools and information to not only educate and inform, but also to inspire your growth. We truly appreciate you spending some time in our April 2020 Issue and thank you for being the best part of Travel Professional NEWS.

Be safe, kind and bold.
