This month we are going to begin our travels through the AM Resort Chain. The first set of AM resorts we are going to look at are the 5 star boutique Zoetry wellness Resorts. These are small boutique style resorts that cater to the busy stressed out executives and their families. They tend to be quieter resorts focusing on relaxation, great food, and top-shelf drinks. These resorts are also small enough that Destination wedding parties can book the whole resort for just their wedding party. Remember that Zoetry Resorts allow children but charge children the adult rate. This tends to keep the number of children to a minimum. The Zoetry Resorts are also wellness resorts with a focus on healthy living from several aspects. Guests are free to participate in all wellness programs or just do their own thing. Zoetry Resorts are located in Mexico, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic on beautiful beaches and private settings.
ZOETRY PARAISO DE LA BONITA
The first Zoetry we are going to look at is the one in the Riviera Maya region of Mexico, the Zoetry Paraiso De La Bonita. This resort is a luxurious AAA 5 Dimond rated resort providing Holistic Wellness, Tranquility, and Romance with gourmet dining, and top-shelf drinks all on one of the best beaches in the area.
Accommodations consist of 100 individually decorated 1 and 2 bedroom Suites located along the beach. Each Suite is decorated in decors from around the world incorporating art, textiles, high thread count sheets, vases and chairs from such countries as, Mexico, Mediterranean, African, and Oriental. Each Suite comes with a large patio and fantastic ocean views. You also get a bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit daily, maid service 3 times a day, complimentary worldwide calling, complimentary laundry service, and many more complimentary items. Butler Service is available in the Butler Category Suites and the new Impressions section made up of 9, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom and Jr. suites This new section takes service to another level. Each Suite in this section has their own butler. There is a private restaurant where you can actually go into the kitchen, interact with the Chef and customize your order. You have full access to the whole resort but also a private beach, restaurant, bar, and rooftop terrace.
Dining is composed of 3 gourmet restaurants as well as a Sushi/Ceviche Bar, a Grill restaurant, a gourmet AAA 4 Diamond Fusion Restaurant based on spices and chilies, an International cuisine with a Mexican twist. There are 2 additional restaurants for clients in the Impressions section. An Asian Fusion Restaurant, and a Chef’s Table. The resort is set up to accommodate any dietary restrictions.
As far as activities there is, at the top of the list, an award winning Spa, greens fees are included at two of the top golf course in the area. Snorkeling and scuba diving are provided at an additional cost. There is a shopping trip to Isla Mueres on the resorts private boat. This resort is all about the relaxation and top notch service with wellness activities.
This resort is ideal for the stressed out executive, a family that wants to reconnect, honeymoons, anniversaries, destination weddings, couples that just want some down time. It would also work for small business retreats.
ZOETRY MONTEGO BAY
Moving on we will jump to Jamaica and Zoetry’s newest resort the Zoetry Montego Bay. This resort used to be the small boutique Coyoba Resort. It was taken over by Zoetry in 2016 and completely rebuilt and renovated, reopening in 2017. The resort sits near the Halfmoon Resort on the way to Ocho Rios. This resort is a very small boutique resort with only 49 Suites sitting on a very nice calm beach. The resort is made up of 3 buildings with a distinctly Jamaican feel and the buildings are named Wood and Water, Bamboo, and Blue Mountain. The resort also has the Zoetry Theme of relaxation and wellness. This resort has a AAA 4 Diamond rating.
The accommodations are beautiful Suites with floor to ceiling glass sliding doors overlooking the ocean or the beautiful gardens, some with soaking tubs on the patio. Each Suite comes with Butler service, maid service 3 times daily, twice daily refreshed mini-bar, A bottle of sparkling wine and fruit daily, complimentary worldwide calling, complimentary WIFI and in-room tablet. All Suites are non-smoking.
Dining includes 3 gourmet options set up to accommodate any dietary restrictions. There is a Mediterranean Restaurant, an International Fusion Restaurant, an English style Lounge restaurant, a Coffee and snack bar, and an authentic Jerk Shack.
As far as activities there are, as at all Zoetry all the wellness activities like Yoga, Spa Services, Fitness Center, Meditation, afternoon tea, and Dietary consultation. The activities consist of playing golf at one of the many golf courses in the area, Kayaks, Sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, Paddle Boards, Nighttime glass bottom boat rides, and relaxing on the beach.
Again, this resort is perfect for the stressed out executive, families that want to reconnect, romance, perfect for renting out the whole resort for a destination wedding, honeymooners, anniversaries, mall business groups, and generally for those that want a nice up-scale relaxing vacation.
ZOETRY AQUA PUNTA CANA
We now move to the Dominican Republic for our next Zoetry Resort, the Zoetry Aqua Punta Cana. This is a discreetly hidden jewel of a resort on a beautiful beach and has a very up-scale Caribbean rustic vibe. It also, is a very small boutique resort with only 96 Suites. This resort is a AAA 4 Diamond rated resort and rated one of the top 10 resorts in the world as well as the number 1 rated resort in Punta Cana.
The accommodations are made up of 2 villas, a 3 bedroom villa and a 2 bedroom villa. The Villas range in size from 3,000 Sq. Ft to 4,000 Sq. Ft. Suites range from Garden View, Ocean View, Ocean Front, and Swim-up. The size of the Suites range from 700 Sq. Ft. to 1,000 Sq. Ft.
As far as dining there is a variety of choices with 4 Specialty Restaurants and 1 Café. The choices are Caribbean, Italian, Beachfront International, and European Fusion. The café serves a variety of coffees and snacks all day.
Activities range from wellness to active. On the wellness side choose from Spa treatments, Fitness Center, Yoga, Meditation, stretch classes, Aqua Spinning, Power Jump fitness classes, or just relaxing on the beach. On the active side there is Golf, Sailing, paddle boarding, Horseback riding, Kayaking, Nightly entertainment. They even have dance lessons, mixology classes, cooking classes, cigar rolling, and wine tasting. Off the resort there are many tours that are available at an additional cost.
The ideal client is basically the same client as all the Zoetry Resorts, the stressed out executive, the family looking to reconnect. It is great for destination weddings and renting out the whole resort, honeymooners, anniversaries, small business groups, and anyone looking for an up-scale, relaxing, small boutique resort.
ZOETRY VILLA ROLANDI, ISLA MUJERES MEXICO
This is another very small boutique resort with only 35 rooms. It sits on Isla Mujeres, a small island off the coast of Cancun. Access and complimentary transfers to the island from Cancun is provided in a 25 minute ride aboard the resorts private Yacht. The Villa Rolandi sits on a beautiful private beach. Isla Mujeres is a fine island with shopping and dining opportunities. The primary mode of transportation, on the island, is by golf cart. This is a great small boutique resort. This resort was voted the number 1 resort on Isla Mujeres.
Accommodations at this Zoetry Resort are all Ocean Front and range from the 3 level Presidential Suite to the sumptuous Jr Suite Veranda Ocean Front. All Suites have a large patio or balcony with a 2 person Jacuzzi on each balcony and patio.
As far as dining at the Zoetry Villa Rolandi offers 2 fantastic choices, a Swiss/Northern Italian restaurant and French/Mexican option. There are snacks served poolside and on the beach all day. Although this is an all-inclusive resort, Isla Mujeres offers some delightful eating establishments. Just get on your golf cart and explore. It is a small island, so you won’t get lost.
The resort has a fantastic Spa with a wide variety of services as well as a fitness center. There is Yoga, Meditation, Bike tours of the island, stretching exercises, and learn how to make silver jewelry. As far as activities you can golf on the mainland, snorkel and scuba dive, twice weekly sunset cocktail cruises on the private yacht, kayaking, sailing, and of course fantastic shopping.
Again this resort is for the stressed out executive, families that want to reconnect, romantic couples, honeymoons, and of course, Destination Weddings.
