New York, July 21, 2025:  Building upon the overwhelming success of its 2024 collaboration, with Chef Prasad to northern India, Sky Vacations announced today its next journey in partnership with the chef: “Southern India 2026 with Chef Prasad.”  a luxury 15-day immersive experience.

 

Departing January 6, 2026, this exclusive chef-led program will transport travelers on a sensorial expedition across the vibrant landscapes, kitchens, and cultures of India’s southern and western regions, including Hyderabad, Chennai, Kumarakom, Cochin, Bangalore, and Goa.

 

Renowned for his mastery of Indian cuisine and a two-time honoree of the James Beard Foundation, Chef Prasad brings deep culinary insight and unmatched storytelling to this journey. Guests will not only savor India’s celebrated dishes but will also engage with its rich history, art, and cultural traditions through expertly curated experiences.

 

The adventure begins in Hyderabad, with a lavish welcome dinner at Adaa Restaurant inside the iconic Taj Falaknuma Palace, preceded by signature cocktails at the opulent Hookah Bar. Guests will explore Hyderabad’s historic forts and tombs, stroll through bustling spice markets, and enjoy an intimate evening hosted by members of the Nawab family.

 

From there, the group travels to Chennai, where highlights include a walking tour of George Town Market, private access to the Dakshina Chitra Museum, and gourmet dinners at celebrated restaurants such as Jamavar and Avartana.

 

In Kumarakom, guests will unwind with a sunset cruise, a cooking demonstration at Coconut Lagoon, and a luxury houseboat cruise along the famed backwaters of Kerala. An enriching stay in Cochin follows, featuring a private dinner hosted by a diplomat, a hands-on Kerala cooking class, and cultural experiences like Kathakali performances and tours of historic colonial landmarks.

 

In Bangalore, the program includes a private curator-led walkthrough of the Museum of Art & Photography, vineyard tours and tastings at Grover Zampa, and a coastal feast at Karavalli.

 

The journey culminates in Goa, where guests embark on a culinary immersion with acclaimed Chef Avinash Martins. From market visits to a private interactive dining experience at Cavatina, a Feni masterclass with Hansel Vaz, and a farewell dinner at the historic Figueiredo Mansion, this final leg encapsulates the vibrant, evolving story of India’s culinary landscape.
